| Wednesday February 28 1:00pm - 4:30pm | |
| This tutorial will present the basic techniques involved in using Rosetta for system specification. Rosetta is an emerging systems level specification language being developed under the supervision of the Accellera SLDL committee and the US Air Force. It focuses on heterogeneous modeling in support of systems engineering and SoC design. The tutorial will cover basic language constructs and specification techniques, and will include practical examples throughout. Specific topics to be covered will include: (i) the Rosetta specification philosophy; (ii) types and functions; (iii) facets; (iv) facet composition and interactions; and (v) advanced topics. Material covered will focus on practical aspects of Rosetta specification rather than an exposition of the language semantics. The tutorial will concentrate around the specification of an actual SoC application being developed as an industrial demonstration project. |
