Speaker: Ray Bingham - President and CEO, Cadence Design Systems, Inc.
Design and economic challenges have never been more difficult. To remain competitive companies must decrease time to market, lower manufacturing costs and reduce product development time while offering more innovation and increasing customer value.  Not an easy task when you consider that the EDA industry is undergoing a significant transformation as a result of new business models, technology advancements, and  changing customer needs and attitudes.  The challenge is even greater for design and verification teams who are still using tools developed circa 1990 for the small digital designs of those times; not the nanometer-scale designs of today that are two orders of magnitude more complex.  In his speech, Cadence President and CEO Ray Bingham will discuss his vision for taking the industry to the next level by providing valuable insight into the important role business transformation plays in the development and proliferation of technology and new products.

Ray Bingham is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cadence Design Systems, Inc. Prior to becoming CEO in 1999 , Bingham served as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) .
