The Design & Verification Conference is looking for submissions for the in-person 2025 Conference and Exhibition. This conference focuses on the practical aspects of design and verification of electronic systems and integrated circuits. This could be applications of languages, tools, methodologies, and/or standards. This could be your chance to help the industry we are all a part of. Please see below for more details.

DVCon honors the Sutherland Best Paper and Best Poster submissions. The awards will be selected by the attendees at DVCon, based on the quality of both the paper and the presentation.

Extensions will not be provided at any point during the submission process. If the guidelines/deadlines are not followed, DVCon will remove your submission.

By submitting this proposal, you are committing to personally attend the conference and deliver the material if it is accepted. Should you be unable to attend in person, it is required that you give a minimum of 4 weeks’ notice before the conference begins to enable the technical committee time to arrange a replacement. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in your inability to propose a paper for the next two years.

Review and Acceptance Process

DVCon U.S. will use a 2-stage review process.  After the TPC reviews the submitted abstracts, authors may receive a Preliminary Acceptance.  This is an invitation to submit a full paper for review.  The TPC will review the Final submitted full paper to determine if the submission will be accepted for presentation at DVCon.

Abstract submissions are double-blind, please remove the author information.

All other submissions should include the author's information.

Because of the delayed submission deadline for DVCon U.S., extensions will not be provided at any point during the submission process. If the guidelines/deadlines are not followed, DVCon will remove your submission.

Speaker Policy

All speakers are expected to present in person.

If the presenter can’t present in person, the speaker is responsible for finding an alternative speaker who can present in person (should be a co-author).

  • If no co-authors can present in person and thus an alternative speaker can not be found, then it is up to the committee to determine if the presentation will remain in the program.

Pre-recorded videos will NOT be played onsite. The pre-recorded videos are for quality assurance purposes, for the Accellera archives, and/or in the case that DVCon U.S. moves virtual.

  • Pre-recorded videos are required for all authors.
  • Pre-recorded videos are optional for tutorials, workshops, and panel speakers.
